My journey into beekeeping
My beekeeping journey began on an organic and Biodynamic farm in the Adelaide Hills, where I found myself tending to six hives. One hive, neglected for years and deemed too aggressive to approach, taught me the most profound lesson. After diligent inspections and a lot of hard work, I realised these ladies simply needed gentle love and care. This hive became one of my favourites and has since sustained the others, providing food for the entire apiary.
